Report:
Can the Houston Texans makes the playoffs for the first time in their existence? If they should they want their offense to keep doing what its doing. QB Matt Schaub is an underrated quarterback that always puts up great stats. Schaub is a very accurate passer and has one of the best deep threats in the game. Schaub's job got easier last year because of the emergence of RB Arian Foster. Foster came out of nowhere last season to lead the league in rushing and score 16 TDs. Foster will try to make sure that last season was not just a one year wonder. Leading the wide receivers in one of the leagues best Andre Johnson. Johnson had another great season last year, but couldn't stay healthy for it all. Other receivers are Kevin Walter, Jacoby Jones, Dorin Dickerson, and the always reliable TE Owen Daniels. Matt Schaub was sacked an average amount of times last season. The offensive line will be better and will gel better.

The worst part of this team last year was the defense, especially the secondary. Houston hopes they solved this problem by signing CB Jonathan Joseph and S Daniel Manning. They will combine with CB Kareem Jackson and S Glover Quin. In the new scheme that Wade Phillips is installing puts Mario Williams at the linebacker position. Williams is much better in the stance and I am curious to see how he covers running backs. LB's Brian Cushing and DeMeco Ryans are the stalwarts of the linebacker corps. At the SLB position there is a battle between Connor Barwin and Brooks Reed. The defensive line is going to expect much from J.J. Watt. The defensive end out of Wisconsin will be the prime focus for defenders instead of Shaun Cody and Antonio Smith who are average lineman.

K Neil Rackers is a good kicker and has the record for most made field goals in a season. At punter Brett Hartmann and Brad Maynard are battling for the starting role. KR Trindon Holliday is claimed to be the fastest player in college football history.

Review:
This team's goal is the playoffs or bust. They have the talent to do so on offense its the defense that worries everybody. If the defense, especially the secondary can play average they can easily make the playoffs.

Division Finish: TBA
